Position Overview: General Nurse (RN)

As a General Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in planning and delivering nursing care to residents requiring long-term and rehabilitative services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies while applying sound nursing judgment.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate the care for residents in need of long-term rehabilitation.
• Implement care plans and monitor resident responses.
• Supervise the care provided by other nursing staff.
• Assist in establishing and reviewing care standards.
• Stay informed about documentation and equipment requirements.
• Uphold confidentiality and patient rights in all interactions.
• Educate residents and families as needed.
• Maintain professionalism in alignment with facility standards.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum one year of experience in medical/surgical nursing or long-term care; acute care experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the relevant state(s) of practice.
• Reliable transportation required.
