LPN Nurse

Elev8 Centers is actively seeking compassionate and driven Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of individuals battling substance and alcohol use disorders. With full-time and part-time positions available, we welcome new graduates to apply!

As LPN, you'll work under the supervision of registered nurses, providing personalized care to our clients. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring patients detox progress, conducting withdrawal assessments, and communicating with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications promptly and according to physicians' orders.
• Educate patients on their medications, documenting their understanding and compliance.
• Record all patient activities, such as admissions, discharges, or ER visits.
• Monitor and document the detox process, addressing any abnormalities in the patient's response.
• Keep detailed records of patient interventions and responses.
• Perform withdrawal assessments and track vital signs as per the treatment plan.
• Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement programs by gathering necessary data.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• At least two years of nursing experience, preferably in addiction treatment.
• Computer proficiency required.
