Key Responsibilities for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) include:

Managing admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents
Coordinating medication requests with pharmacy and medical professionals
Administering medications
Adhering to infection control, emergency protocols, and center policies
Working with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal resident outcomes
Observing and reporting any significant changes in residents’ health status to the appropriate staff as per policy

Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Must hold a valid LPN license in the State
CPR Certification is mandatory
Preferred: At least two years of prior nursing experience
