General Nurse (RN) Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care based on the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and professional judgment.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients needing long-term or rehabilitative services.
• Execute and monitor individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and guide other nursing staff in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of care standards within the facility.
• Maintain compliance with documentation, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Operate and manage medical equipment (e.g., monitors, infusion devices, drains) effectively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on healthcare plans as needed.
• Uphold professionalism and adhere to facility and unit policies at all times.
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of experience in medical/surgical nursing, preferably in an acute care or long-term care setting.
• Active RN license in the practicing state(s).
• Reliable transportation required.
