The discussion revolves around salary and the hours spent away from work:
- Earn an average of $80,000 to $90,000 in your first year along with a minimum transition salary
- Skilled drivers have the opportunity to earn more than $110,000 annually
- Loaded miles initiate at a cost of 63 cents per mile
- Most individuals make an average of $1400 to $1600 every week
- A minimum of $1200 is provided for transitioning over a six-week period
- OTR drivers can choose to be back home every 10 to 14 days or stay out for longer periods as they see fit
- Supplemental weekend pay following the completion of your inaugural solo transportation assignment, incorporated within the transition remuneration plan at $75.00 per weekend day
- An incentive of $10,000 is available for drivers who are just starting out
- Canadian drivers are entitled to a $75.00 payment for crossing
- An unlimited bonus of $2000 is available for every driver successfully referred to the program
