Hospital Nurse (RN) Job Description:

The RN is responsible for planning and providing nursing care to patients requiring long-term or rehabilitative services.

Core Duties:

• Follow the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies, applying sound judgment in care delivery.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care provided to residents.
• Implement care plans and observe resident responses for necessary adjustments.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff in care provision.
• Assist in the development of care standards and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and respect for patient rights.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers as appropriate.
• Maintain professionalism in accordance with facility policies.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of nursing experience in a medical/surgical or long-term care setting, preferably in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state and reliable transportation.
