RNs must be compassionate and empathetic towards patients and families when providing care, as well as be able to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with colleagues and administrators:

Registered Nurses (RNs) have the important task of developing and implementing nursing care plans for patients and residents in need of long-term and/or rehabilitative care.

As part of their responsibilities, RNs also need to stay up-to-date on the latest medical technology, therapeutic techniques, and medication developments:

• Observes the principles of the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and procedures, and complement their nursing practice with relevant clinical judgment.
• Patients and residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care will have their care evaluated, planned for and assessed by the nursing staff.
• Nursing care is provided to those requiring long-term or rehabilitative care services.
• Implements the personalized care plan of patients and assesses their reaction to it.
• Supervises and manages the execution of healthcare services by fellow nursing personnel.
• Participates in the formulation and evaluation of clinical pathways and algorithms.
• Stays updated with the necessary paperwork regulations.
• Possesses expertise in the handling and maintenance of essential medical equipment, such as monitors, IV pumps, and suction systems used in the care of patients.
• Compliance with privacy policies and regulations is critical to ensuring that the rights of patients and residents are upheld while maintaining their confidentiality.
• Provides education to patients, residents, families, and caregivers as required by their care plan.
• Adheres to unit and facility policies to demonstrate professional conduct.
• Follows the company's rotation policy, which includes working varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

To be eligible to work as an RN, one must complete the educational and experiential requirements specific to the profession:

• Completing an accredited nursing program is mandatory for aspiring professional nurses.
• The successful candidate must have at least one year of experience in medical/surgical nursing, with a preference for acute/critical care experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• Having a dependable transportation source is a requirement for this position, along with holding a valid RN license in the state(s) where practice is undertaken.
