The available trucks are no more than 3 years old, come with continuous Roadside Maintenance aid, and are fueled by Company Drivers at a variety of over 800 Maintenance Points nationwide.

Requirements
- Individuals must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Successfully navigate a drug test for Ryder
- - Pass a comprehensive Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including validation of drug and alcohol history from previous employers going back three years
- Comply with the Department of Transportation's physical examination requirements
- Satisfactorily pass the practical driving assessment with Ryder
- Make sure that you meet the job requirements by possessing the appropriate CDL and any relevant endorsements
- Class A verifiable experience in driving a tractor-trailer or a similar type of vehicle is a mandatory requirement for this role:
- Having worked for nine months in the last three years, OR
- 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
- Candidates should have acquired a minimum of 5 years of experience in the last 10 years
- Capability to adhere to directives conveyed through written text or verbal communication
- Capability to read, understand, and implement laws, rules, and policies proficiently
It is important to be aware that specific requirements may be necessary in various locations and/or accounts.
Responsibilities
- Compliance verification with applicable federal or state laws, regulations, and agency guidelines
- Recognizing and minimizing safety risks or hazards and ensuring the accurate upkeep of records and logs
- Support in loading and unloading freight, as needed by the customer
- Undertakes any other responsibilities as instructed
