A CNA should possess a current and valid license in the state they wish to work. They should have excellent English language skills, including reading, writing, and communicating effectively. Additionally, a CNA should be confident in making independent decisions and working harmoniously with other healthcare personnel while displaying dependability and punctuality consistently.

• Provide patient-centered care to a number of residents in the assisted living facility.
• Observe Resident Rights
• Offer assistance with activities of daily living to improve quality of life.
• With the assistant's help in the admission, transfer, and discharge process, the nurse can focus on providing the best medical care to the residents
• Work alongside nurses to implement treatment plans and perform routine resident check-ups
• Promote proper recovery techniques through vigilant and thorough supervision of restorative and rehabilitation care
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality by regularly showing up to work on time.

Continuing education and ongoing professional development are important for CNAs to keep their skills and knowledge up-to-date:

• A current and valid CNA license is a prerequisite for one to practice as a nursing assistant within the state they work and reside.
• Ability to understand, converse in, write, and read the English language.
• Showing the adeptness to make independent judgments when the situation demands immediate action.
• Expertise to function cohesively with other staff members.
