Hospital Nurse (RN) Overview:

The Hospital Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning and providing nursing care to patients requiring long-term or rehabilitative services.

Core Responsibilities:

• Follow the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies while exercising sound judgment.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for residents needing long-term or rehabilitation support.
• Deliver individualized nursing care according to patient needs.
• Implement care plans and monitor resident responses.
• Supervise nursing staff in their care duties.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of care standards.
• Stay updated on documentation and equipment usage.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers as needed.
• Conduct yourself professionally according to facility policies.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a medical/surgical or long-term care environment, with preference for critical care.
• Current RN license in the state and reliable transportation required.
