The role of LPN demands a high level of academic and professional qualifications. You need to earn a degree or diploma from an accredited institution to earn your license. After licensure, you must adhere to continuing education requirements to maintain your license and stay updated on current nursing practices

• Healthcare providers must make reasonable efforts to accommodate residents' needs and preferences during the admission, discharge, and transfer process
• Medication requests necessitate the collaboration of pharmacy and physician teams
• Medication administration
• The center's policies on infection control, emergency preparedness, and other regulations must be followed with utmost care by employees to promote our collective well-being in the workplace
• It is important to join forces with the residents' interdisciplinary team to provide the best possible outcomes
• To ensure residents receive appropriate healthcare services, it is mandatory to identify and report all abnormal changes in their physical and mental health to the proper personnel in line with facility regulations

A LPN should be compassionate, patient, and have a strong work ethic, as they often work in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments:

• The LPN license is issued at the State level by the governing authority
• CPR Certification required
