Job Summary for Home Health CNA

The Home Health CNA supports both registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) in facilitating activities of daily living.

Core Duties of the Home Health CNA:

• Provide care for multiple residents within the facility.
• Uphold and respect Resident Rights.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Aid nurses in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
• Support nurses in administering treatments and conducting assessments.
• Assist with rehabilitation and restorative care under supervision.
• Consistently show dependability by arriving at work as scheduled.

Home Health CNA Qualifications and Requirements:

• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.
