Rehabilitation Counselor

Our inpatient drug treatment program is actively seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Counselor to become part of our team. Successful candidates will ensure adherence to OASAS regulations for inpatient detox and rehab, while also managing documentation deadlines.

Counselors will oversee a caseload of 8-10 clients, conducting daily individual and group counseling sessions, performing admission assessments, managing cases, planning aftercare, providing crisis interventions, and creating tailored treatment plans. Proficiency in documentation and knowledge of OASAS guidelines is highly desirable.

Shifts: Tuesday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or Sunday - Thursday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Qualifications:

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in Substance Use Counseling is preferred.

License/Certification:

CASAC, CASAC-A, CASAC 2, CASAC-M.
